Workforce Innovation Expo ("WIE", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data and being transparent about how we use it. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Please read this policy carefully before registering to attend, enquiring about exhibiting, or otherwise providing us with your personal information.
1. Who we are
The data controller for Workforce Innovation Expo 2026 is ASP Events Ltd, which operates the event on behalf of the WIE organising team.
The event takes place on 10 September 2026 at Protein Studios, Shoreditch, London.

2. What we collect
We collect personal data in the following circumstances:
When you register to attend

When you enquire about exhibiting or speaking
We collect your name, company, job title, work email, and phone number to respond to your enquiry and discuss opportunities.
When you use our website
We collect standard log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time on site) via cookies and analytics tools. See section 8 for details.
3. How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Process your registration and manage your attendance at WIE 2026
- Conduct our pre-show assessment to verify delegate eligibility
- Send you event-related communications: confirmation, agenda updates, logistics information, and post-event follow-up
- Provide exhibitors and sponsors with an aggregated (anonymised) profile of the delegate audience — we do not pass individual delegate data to exhibitors without your explicit consent
- Improve our website, event format, and content based on usage data
- Comply with our legal obligations
We will not sell your personal data to any third party. We will not use your data for automated decision-making that has a legal or significant effect on you.

7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

- Restrict processing while a dispute is resolved
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal

8. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to improve your experience and help us understand how the site is used. The cookies we use fall into three categories:
- Essential cookies — required for the website and registration system to function. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand page visits, traffic sources, and user behaviour. We use these only with your consent.
- Marketing cookies — used to track event campaign performance. We use these only with your consent.

9. International transfers
WIE 2026 is a UK-based event and we process data primarily within the UK and EEA. Where any of our service providers transfer data outside these areas, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or equivalent standard contractual clauses.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify registered delegates by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
